How do we select you?

Grades and resumes are not enough, that’s for sure. We assess emotional intelligence, creativity, composure, collaborative skills, leadership and drive. Just like organizations and universities, we mix objectivity with subjectivity and fit. Our members will show outstanding academic performances, business skills, emotional intelligence and collaborative and leadership abilities.

Step One: Referral
Applicants can either apply unsolicited or be recommended from an educational institution, talent officer, or existing Nova member. These entities can extend only a handful of nominations every year. Our philosophy is that less is more – quality over quantity – if you’re really the best at what you do, then Nova welcomes you.

Step Two:
Online Application submission
Once introduced to the network, candidates are invited to complete and submit the online application. The application is then screened on the basis of exceptional accomplishments, promise, and drive against our proprietary selection and assessment system. Successful candidates who meet all the criteria’s will be contacted by Nova for an interview. The results of the interview and online application score will determine your acceptance into Nova’s membership network.

Step Three: Screening
CV and Telephone Screening:
After submitting your online application, one of our Talent Managers will get in touch with you shortly for a first round telephone interview, the tele-interview is designed to assess applicant's oral English skills and lasts for no more than 5 minutes.

Step Four: Interview
1) F2F individual assessment:
Should you pass the first round tele-screening, our Talent Manager will then arrange a face to face interview which is designed to measure your AQ (Academic Quotient), BQ (Business Quotient), and EQ (Emotional Quotient).

2) Notification send out
If you are accepted as a Nova member, within one week after the face to face assessment with the Talent Manager, an email will be sent to you with log in credentials to our website with which you can access your own profile, and this will be the main window for you to keep Nova updated about your information.

However if you failed your application this time, we encourage you to apply again after 6 months, when you are better prepared for a Nova membership.
